Many applications are designed to be as small and compact as possible, within the limits of their intended use. This conserves material resources as well as energy and manufacturing costs. Each component should take up as little space as possible, given its function. For this reason, we have expanded our line of bearingless encoders to include the world’s first safety-Kit Encoders with the Ethernet interfaces Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) and PROFIsafe over PROFINET.
From 24 to 26 March 2026, we will be welcoming visitors to booth 8A24 at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. We will be showcasing its customized, reliable solutions for intralogistics automation, particularly for use with automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
You might wonder whether there is any difference at all. There is. In the functional safety sensor technology industry, sensors are often labeled “Safety.” In our case, these are sensors that convert mechanical measurements into electrical data. However, this does not necessarily reflect our understanding of safety. Our safety sensors meet very high requirements and standards, so we can rightly speak of “true safety.”
In November 2025, we will present our latest sensor solutions alongside its tried-and-tested sensors for angle, displacement, and inclination measurement at two of the most important trade fairs. Visit us at AGRITECHNICA from 9 to 15 November at stand D18 in hall 17, or at Smart Production Solutions (SPS) from 25 to 27 November at stand 342 in hall 7A, to see our innovations for mobile and industrial automation machines.
The trade fair “Smart Production Solutions” (SPS), based on the event of the same name in Nuremberg, is opening its doors for the first time in Atlanta. From September 16th to 18th, the focus will be on electric drive systems, machines and sensors as part of intelligent and digital automation products and services. At booth 949 we will, together with our US partner Encoder Products Company (EPC), present pioneering sensor solutions for the rotary encoder and inclination sensor markets. We will also be present at RoboBusiness (booth 700) in Santa Clara from October 15th to 16th to show innovative solutions for industrial automation and robotics.
From March 11 to 13, 2025, LogiMAT in Stuttgart will open its doors. At booth 8C76, sensor specialist We will present innovative sensor solutions, including those for automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
As a leading provider of state-of-the-art sensor solutions, we will be taking part in SPS 2024, the international trade fair for industrial automation. This year, we will be presenting our latest KIT encoder and a space-saving ring encoder. Both encoder product lines are characterised by a compact design and SIL2 certification and are ideal for numerous industrial applications.
WindEnergy Hamburg, the world's leading trade fair for the wind energy industry, offers a unique platform for discovering the latest developments and innovations. We are a key player in the competition for new sensors for the wind industry, particularly in the area of functional safety up to SIL3 / PLe. These sensors significantly increase the efficiency of wind power generation by providing accurate data and multiple functions in a single device.
As a pioneer in the development and manufacture of high-precision safety sensors, we are taking part in this year's Automate Show, which takes place from 6 to 9 May. The show, which is organised in Chicago, Illinois, offers us an exceptional platform to present the latest solutions in safety sensor technology to a global audience of experts.
Functionally safe sensors are the main business of us since years. To expand the customer base, we are exhibiting at several trade fairs this year. These include MODEX 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) from 11 to 14 March (Booth A13611) and LogiMAT 2024 in Stuttgart (Germany) from 19 to 21 March (Booth 3F30). The American exhibition MODEX in particular will be a debut for the safety encoder specialist from the Rhineland.
Autonomous vehicles are no longer a rarity in agriculture – e. g. tractors or cultivators. In addition to the actual task of tilling the soil, these machines employ modern sensor technology. The sensors must meet a particularly high level of safety. TWK offers the agricultural sector compact, robust components with a high degree of protection and a variety of interfaces - SIL2 and SIL3 certified, including incremental.
TWK will be exhibiting its new safety sensor range at the SPS in Nuremberg. The compact encoders and inclinometers will be on show from 14 to 16 November in Hall 7A I Stand 603. Their small size makes them ideal for autonomous vehicles in both the logistics and agricultural sectors. With SIL2 or SIL3 certification, the robust sensors meet the required safety standards.
