Product information "Incremental Encoder SOI90-T/S3 SIL3/PLe"

The mechanical angular position of the hollow shaft is sensed and translated into SINUS/COSINUS signals. The digital square-wave pulses are calculated from these signals. The design meets the functional safety requirements of IEC 61508: SIL3 and ISO 13849: PLe (CAT4). The encoder is suitable for safe motor feedback systems according to IEC 61800-5-2.

The rugged 90mm housing is available in aluminium / powder coated aluminium or stainless steel AISI 303 and is available with connector (M12 or M23, radial) or cable outlet (standard: PVC, 8-pin, radial). The 30 mm hollow shaft is made of AISI 303 stainless steel. Reducing sleeves are available.
