Product information "Multiturn Rotary Encoder TRN78/S4 SIL2"

A positive mechanical connection between the customer shaft and the sensor shaft ensures that the sensor shaft's magnet precisely reproduces the customer shaft's rotation.

The TRN offers a resolution of up to 16 bits. With the overrunning absolute gear, the TRN rotary encoder achieves a measuring range of up to 4096 revolutions.

Position and speed values (PDO, or Process Data Object) are output via the CANopen protocol.
