Eine formschlüssige mechanische Verbindung zwischen Kunden- und Sensorwelle sorgt dafür, dass der Magnet der Sensorwelle die Rotation der Kundenwelle exakt wiedergibt.
Beim TBN wird eine Umdrehung, d.h. max. 65.536 Schritte erfasst.
Mit dem nachlaufenden absoluten Getriebe erreicht der Drehgeber TRN einen Messbereich von bis zu 4096 Umdrehungen.
Über das CANopen Protokoll werden der Positions- und der Geschwindigkeitswert (PDO - Process Data Objekt) ausgegeben.
