Product information "Switching cam encoder NOCIO/S3 SIL2/PLd"
Robust housing made of aluminium (AlMgSi1) or stainless steel (1.4305 or 1.4404) in two-chamber design. Shaft with shaft seal and ball bearing mounted in antechamber. Electronics housed in sealed main chamber. Ø 79 mm with short overall length.
Shaft diameter 12 mm. Electrical connection for power supply, switching outputs and IO-Link position data via M12 plug.
Safety switching contacts are designed with a positively driven safety relay connected in series with a second relay to ensure safe contact separation (no contact bonding). The contact is galvanically separated from the electronics to ensure high EMC resistance and is suitable for use in the safety chain. The non-safety-related switching contact (if present) is designed with a standard relay with high reliability.
