Product information "Inertial sensor NBN66-D"

Based on our inclination sensor model series NBN, this inertial sensor is suitable to detect the inclination - here also called position - over 360°. In addition to the MEMS accelerometer, a MEMS gyroscope is used to measure the angular velocity / rotation rate precisely and with a high update rate. This inertial sensor behaves like a rotary encoder with a speed signal.

The processing of acceleration and rotation rate values can be offered via common industrial and fieldbus interfaces such as CANopen, ProfiNET, EtherCAT and even in the course of functional safety via CANopen Safety, Profisafe via Profinet and Fail Safe over EtherCAT. For this reason, the NBN66-D is an integrated international sensor for industrial automation, for example.
